Late winter garden notes 1
Large gardens need constant care and attention throughout the year. Sadly, some people don't appreciate that by stopping gardening through the winter and early spring means that trying to catch up with the jobs that should have been done then will mean their garden won't be looking at its absolute best in the summer. Work in the garden during the winter months include:
- protection of plants for the cold conditions,
- care of lawns,
- soil improvement,
- winter pruning,
- planting,
- moving existing plants
- seed sowing
- planning plans for borders and display
- jet washing hard surfaces
- leaf and debris clearing from beds
- mulching
- weeding - they grow all year round depending on conditions
If you feel that the garden needs an overhaul, why not consider a redesign of an area, or the whole, of your garden. Consilio can help turn those hazy dreams into a summer reality.
